Compact bathrooms rarely have a socket beside the toilet, and older round ceramics are exactly the shape most bidet seats overhang. The FP108 answers both problems: it is contoured for round and short-projection pans of roughly 480 mm, and it works from your cold-water supply alone — no wiring, no transformer, no standby power.
Under the lid it is the same mechanical platform as the rest of the FP series: a brass inlet valve, a side lever for pressure, twin retracting nozzles and the 2027 nozzle head. What changes is the footprint, so the seat sits flush on a shorter pan instead of hanging past the rim.
Two minutes with a tape measure prevents the single most common return on bidet seats. If the number falls between the two sizes, send us the measurement and we will tell you which one fits.
Contoured to finish at the rim on a short pan rather than overhanging it — the fit problem that rules most bidet seats out of small bathrooms.
Everything is driven by mains water pressure. Nothing to plug in, nothing drawing power between uses, no electronics to outlive the ceramic.
Brass inlet valve, polished 1/2" brass T-piece and a braided hose — the connections that hold pressure are not plastic.
A markedly firmer wash than a standard manual seat, trimmed to your preference on the side lever at any point during use.
Mechanical bidet seats almost never fail at the seat. They fail at the connection — a plastic inlet valve that goes brittle, or a push-fit joint that starts to weep behind the pan where nobody looks until the floor is damp. The higher the working pressure, the sooner it happens.
The FP108 uses a heavy-duty brass inlet valve and is supplied with a polished 1/2" brass T-adapter and braided steel hose, so the whole run from cistern feed to seat is metal. The seat itself is held by metal sliders and bolts, with quick-release for cleaning.

High pressure through a small aperture produces a jet: effective, but sharp. The 2027 head is 120% larger than the version it replaces, spreading the same flow across a wider pattern. The wash stays firm while feeling considerably less concentrated — the difference is most noticeable at the top of the pressure range.
Rear and front washing use separate nozzles, and an automatic self-cleaning cycle rinses the nozzle body itself, so the component in contact with water does not become the thing you have to scrub.

Nothing is drilled, cut or wired. The seat reuses the fixing points and the water connection already on your toilet, which is why it also comes off cleanly if you move house.

What is the difference between the FP108 and the FP106?
Only the shape and size of the seat. The FP108 is built for round and short-projection pans of about 480 mm; the FP106 covers oval and elongated pans of about 500 mm. Pressure, nozzles, brass fittings and installation are identical.
Do I need a socket in the bathroom?
No. The FP108 is non-electric and runs on mains water pressure alone, which makes it a practical option for bathrooms where adding a socket near the toilet would mean rewiring.
Is the water cold?
Yes — it is fed from the cold supply, so the water arrives at whatever temperature your pipes are. Most people acclimatise quickly, but if heated water is a firm requirement, an electric washlet is the right category to look at instead.
How strong is the spray, and can it be softened?
It runs around 55% above a typical manual bidet seat at full setting, and the side lever adjusts continuously from a light rinse upward. The larger 2027 nozzle spreads the flow, so even the top setting is broad rather than needle-like.
Can I fit it myself?
Usually, yes. It uses the existing seat fixings and cold-water connection, and the supplied brass T-adapter goes inline at the cistern. No drilling, pipe cutting or electrical work is involved.
How do I keep it clean?
The nozzles rinse themselves automatically, and quick-release lets you lift the seat off the pan so the hinge area can be cleaned directly instead of wiped around.
