This system uses UV light and a zirconium coating to actively decompose waste and bacteria, ensuring the toilet remains pristine without the use of harsh chemicals.
Exclusive to the WX2, ACTILIGHT® is a cutting-edge cleaning technology. The ceramic bowl is fired with a special Zirconium coating. An integrated UV light in the lid activates this coating, triggering a photocatalytic process that decomposes waste and bacteria at a microscopic level.

The NEOREST WX2 (TCF95280GEU) features TOTO's flagship ACTILIGHT technology. This involves a special Zirconium coating on the ceramic and a UV light in the lid, which work together to decompose waste and bacteria. The WX1 (TCF95180GEU) has all other luxury features but lacks the UV ACTILIGHT system.
While the WX2 is self-cleaning thanks to ACTILIGHT, EWATER+, and TORNADO FLUSH, periodic maintenance is still required. However, the frequency and effort of cleaning are drastically reduced compared to a standard toilet.
